Private Lessons

Private lessons are ideal if you like individualized instruction, want to move at your own pace, or have a specific goal in mind. From the most basic steps to truly advanced moves, the learning is tailored to your needs.

Group Classes

A group class at the appropriate level is the perfect way to learn and socialize at the same time. It’s also the least expensive option for learners on a tight budget.

Wedding Prep

From the moment you step on the floor until your final dip, we’ll teach you everything you need to know to make your first dance (or father-daughter, mother-son, or exit stroll) one to remember.

Practice Parties & Outings

Attending practice parties or joining us out on the town helps you reinforce what you’re learning and is tons of fun too! You’ll also get to know and dance with other students, and that makes everyone better.

Learn more details about what we have to offer on our Lessons page.

Your Excuses Are Lame

(Warning: Do not read this section if you’re not ready for some tough love.)

I’ve Got Two Left Feet

While there may be some documented cases of people who were actually born with two left feet, you are not one of them. If you can walk, you can learn to dance.

I Can’t Dance

Yet. You can’t dance yet. If you already knew how to dance, you wouldn’t need lessons. Dancing is a skill and therefore it can be learned. That’s what we do.

I Have No Rhythm

Maybe you don’t. Sorry. But you probably do, and you just lack confidence. Most people can improve their sense of rhythm and timing with instruction, so don’t count yourself out before you even start.

I Don’t Have a Partner

You don’t need one. You can dance with an instructor or other students when you’re in lessons, practice on your own, and dance with people of all levels at practice parties. And once you learn to dance well, partners will seek you out.

I Don’t Have the Time

How many hours a day do you spend watching TV or scrolling through social media? If you truly can’t find an hour or two a week to engage in a fun hobby, your life is out of balance. Fix it.

I Live Too Far Away

We have students that come from as far away as Jonesboro, so I’m just not buying it. Often when folks come from farther away, they make a day of it by enjoying dinner at a great downtown restaurant, going to a game, taking in a show, or playing in the park. And if you really don’t want to come downtown, there are other great studios sprinkled all over the city, so there’s bound to be one close to you.

I Can’t Afford It

Okay, so taking weekly private lessons may not be within you budget, but we really do have options for almost anyone. You could come every other week, join a group class, organize a group of friends to split the cost, or try one of our free community classes in the park.

The Upshot

There really are no good reasons not to learn to dance, so if you’re still clinging to your excuses, either you don’t really want to, or you’re scared. If it’s the former, then be honest with yourself and find a hobby that you’ll truly enjoy. If it’s the latter though, let me tell you, I was scared too when I started. Almost everyone is. But if you can just screw up the courage to try it, I think you’ll have so much fun that all your objections will magically disappear.
